An exciting hour of piano repertoire played by Madeleine Xiao, award-winning student of Rae de Lisle and Katherine Austin. Madeleine is a graduate of the Auckland University School of Music and will soon be heading overseas for further study.

Pianists Matthew Seinafo and Hana Tani play a programme of Liszt, Mozart, Debussy, Haydn and Faure. Both Matthew and Hana are students of Stephen De Pledge and are recipients of the Haydn Staples Auckland Philharmonia Piano Scholarship.
MUSIC IN EDEN is the music arm of our longstanding community art event Artists in Eden. We offer free live music every Friday lunchtime in the beautiful Mt Eden Village Centre Church. This is a performance opportunity for musicians as well as a regular music programme for locals and music lovers to enjoy every week, all in the heart of Mt Eden Village with easy access to the local cafés and shops. Performers range from professionals to students and cover a range of musical genres from classical to contemporary. We also feature a new artwork every month by one of our artists and display the work at the performance. Entry is free - koha is welcome.
