A huge thank you to those who joined us to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Festival in 2025! It was a magical weekend of world-class performances and appreciative audiences.
Our 2026 Festival will take place in July and will feature four concerts, opening on Thursday 2 July with the first of three evening concerts (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) followed by an afternoon finale on Sunday 5 July.
Thank you to all who have supported this boutique music event to date and we look forward to welcoming you back this year!

Launched by Eden Arts in 2016, the Mt Eden Chamber Music Festival has become a popular annual event on the Auckland arts calendar. It takes the form of three one-hour early evening/afternoon concerts in the heart of Mt Eden over the course of a weekend, featuring some of the best professional chamber musicians in the country. Now in its ninth year, the Festival has welcomed a range of eminent musicians from across New Zealand including NZ String Quartet, NZ Chamber Soloists, NZTrio, NZBarok, Aroha String Quartet, Auckland Piano Trio, soprano Amelia Berry, baritone Edward Laurenson, bass Wade Kernot, pianist Rosemary Barnes and clarinettist Peter Scholes, among others. Our artistic director is violinist Simeon Broom (NZSO) who grew up in Mt Eden and had the vision of creating a local festival here along the lines of the European festivals he has played in.
